We believe that how we live is more important than what we say….

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20

Caring Ministry

Our Caring Ministry Team consists of members from Bethany UMC.  They send cards to church members and their families — in good times and bad.  They make home & hospital visits and serve Communion.  The Team brings in local experts for Caring Ministry Seminars held in our Fellowship Hall.  They also make and deliver Cookie Plates during Christmas.

If you would like to be a part of our Caring Ministry Team — please contact the church office at 494-8801 or email us at

Prayer Chain

Bethany believes in the unbridled power of prayer and has a Prayer Chain which communicates by email.  Members of the Prayer Chain are faithful in praying for the concerns of our congregation.  If you would like to be a member of the Prayer Chain and receive notices of the prayer concerns, please contact the church office at 494-8801 or email us at

Lioness Group

The Ashwaubenon Lioness Group meets on a quarterly basis at Bethany UMC.  They meet in our Fellowship Hall to make quilts for their Baby Quilt Project for the Family Services Well Baby Program.  They average making 122 quilts per year!

Bethany Haven Camp

Bethany Haven Camp is located in Door County.  Bethany UMC owns 17 1/2 acres of property which runs along the Ahnapee River and has a nice wooded area.

The purpose of the Bethany Haven property is to provide a natural area for the enjoyment and solitude of groups and individuals.  All activities at the property should be planned and conducted in the spirit of Christian living and in accordance with the disciplines of the United Methodist church.  The hope is that all who use the property will become closer to God and be better Christians because of it.

Bethany is gradually developing Bethany haven as an outdoor worship and camping site.

We hope that you will visit the area and enjoy the natural beauty of God’s creation.

Please contact the church office for directions to Bethany Haven.
